Great Creations by Small Masters is a long-standing art programme of the Maribor Regional Museum, which will be launched in a renewed and expanded form in April 2024 with our partner, the Ivan Glinšek Maribor Kindergarten.
The competition is open to all primary school and kindergarten children from the Podravje and Pomurje regions.
Works will be selected on the basis of originality, execution, interpretation of the artistic motif, interest and artistic characteristics. We leave it up to you to choose the techniques in which the children will paint, draw or assemble the works of art (mosaic, paper scrapings, images made from pieces of cloth, etc.).
As this is a competition, an expert jury will select 100 works to be exhibited at the Maribor Regional Museum at the end of April 2024, and the 15 best small masters will be rewarded with practical prizes.
