AUTUMN GREETINGS*
A five-sensory experience
Amidst a blend of music and light, we will explore, through a narrative, the symbolism of autumn in the décor of the Baroque staircase and the Knights’ Hall at Maribor Castle.
Through these selected motifs, we will reflect on autumn as a time of abundance, harvest and the eternal cycle of nature.
The second part of the evening will be devoted to the 19th-century citizen of Maribor – his daily life and celebrations, customs and etiquette.
We’ll also take a closer look at his festive table and the importance of food in bourgeois culture, all spiced up with a dash of culinary history.
