FROM MARCHBURG TO MARIBOR

Family Discovery Centre

Visitors will follow clues that will guide them through the permanent exhibitions of the Maribor Regional Museum, whilst learning about various historical sources relating to Maribor and its origins. The trail will take them from the first mention of the town, which was then known as Marchburg, to an artefact bearing the inscription ‘Maribor’.

Younger visitors will need their parents’ help with reading and understanding the information, whilst older visitors will be able to tackle the puzzles and explore the castle all by themselves.
