FROM MARCHBURG TO MARIBOR
Family Discovery Centre for children aged 6–12
Children (aged 6–12) will follow clues on the discovery trail, which will guide them through the permanent exhibitions of the Maribor Regional Museum, where they will learn about objects linked to the city and its origins.
The trail will take them from the first mention of the town – which was then still called Marchburg – right through to the exhibit bearing the inscription ‘Maribor’. Younger visitors will, of course, need help from their companions to read and solve the individual puzzles, whilst older visitors can tackle the puzzles and explore the castle on their own.
Meeting point: Maribor Regional Museum (entrance from Grajski trg).
