In the Maribor Regional Museum, we display our Furniture collection in our open storage inside the former cinema Kino Partizan. We believe that by displaying a vast amount of the collected objects, we can confront the public with the concept of materialised history and present the developmental potential of heritage. The unselected display of the materials, which, however, are still systematically organised in the storage, creates a solid platform for developing numerous ethnically-aesthetic concepts and creating various standpoints.

Because artists are among the most sensitive people, the space, which holds the historic memory of creativity, unfolds as a new gallery. Within the scope of the project ROCKER OF IDEAS, we invite artists to answer the questions on how heritage influences their creativity and how it relates to them and changes them.
