Naive Art
In the last few decades the production of objects from straw has developed into a special form of naive art, that is, a form of expression that is mostly associated with the north of Bačka and the community of Bunjeva - with "straw women" as its bearers. Over time, the production of objects from straw began to appear in other contexts: from a hobby - which is engaged in by individuals or associations, to the production of souvenirs and their use for the promotion of local tourism.
