At the archaeological exhibition Traces of the Ancient Past - Brinjeva gora and Surroundings, which is on display at the Hotel Atrij in Zreče, we present the results of systematic research into the oldest past of the town of Zreče, carried out between 1953 and 1963 by Stanko Pahič, an archaeologist at the Maribor Regional Museum. His excavations of various sites have shown that the area was almost continuously inhabited from the Copper Age to the early Middle Ages. The exhibition, which is complemented by a multilingual leaflet, presents selected objects, photographs of the sites and a contextual outline of the individual periods.
