Concert and conversation
In the framework of the music and conversation recital on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of Franz Liszt's concert in the Knight's Hall of the Maribor Castle, we will discuss the musical culture of Maribor and the work and creative path of Franz Liszt.
On this occasion, renowned Maribor pianist Prof. Adriana Magdovski will perform part of the concert programme that Liszt played in 1846 in the Knights' Hall. The discussion will also be attended by musicologist dr. Marko Motnik, historian mag. Oskar Habjanič and Dr Valentina Bevc Varl, curator of the musical instruments collection, who will also moderate the talk.
