NADA GAŠIĆ: WATER, COBWEBS
Literary Station with the Maribor Library
Writer born in Maribor Nada Gašić is considered the most »Zagreb artist«, as all her works are a mosaic of Zagreb's streets, famous buildings and people. Roman Water, cobwebs (2010), her first work translated into Slovenian, masterfully blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction. The crime story takes us to Zagreb, where the 1964 flood serves as a metaphor for the changes in the city and the lives of its inhabitants. A conversation with the author will be moderated by Zora A. Jurič.
The event is organised by Maribor Regional Museum, Maribor Library and Pivec Publishing.
