PORTRAITS OF EVERYMEN, HEROES, AND SOCIETY
The international symposium
At the international scholarly symposium Museoeurope 2025 findings on life in Central Europe in the 19th century, as depicted in contemporary paintings, will be presented. The symposium, connected to the temporary exhibition Maribor Painter Eduard Lind, will feature speakers from Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, and Slovenia. During the symposium, and until 12 October, the Portrait of Prelate Augustin Duda will be on display, on loan from the Portrait of Prelate Augustin Dude, with which he is a guest Museum of the Benedictine Monastery of St. Paul in the Lavant Valley, Austria.
