Guided tour of the exhibition
In the second half of the 19th century, the German-born Maribor painter Eduard Lind established himself in the city as a portraitist of famous and unknown townspeople and bourgeois families. The presentation of Lind's clients and subjects reveals the story of Maribor in a period when the city was experiencing an economic and cultural boom. The exhibition will be guided by the author of the exhibition Dr Valentina Bevc Varl, which was awarded the Valvasor Medal for outstanding achievement. The exhibition is open only until 19 October 2025!
