KATARINA KEČEK: DAUGHTER OF THE OCCUPIER
Book cycle
Writer and journalist Katarina Keček in the second novel The daughter of the occupier describes his experience of being removed from the register of Slovenian citizens by the government in 1991. The event is considered one of the biggest human rights violations in recent Slovenian history. At the time, she was a 20-year-old first-year journalism student, and after the expulsion she was even left homeless. The discussion will be moderated by Danaja Lorenčič.
The event is organised by the Maribor Library and the Maribor Regional Museum.
