Discussion in the Castle Café

In 2025, the Maribor Regional Museum acquired a piano made by the Maribor builder Josef Brandl (1865-1938), who also made more than 150 organs for various clients. The piano is on display in the Castle Café, and the curator of the musical instruments collection, Dr Valentina Bevc Varl, will discuss the Maribor master and the importance of the instrument for the artist with her guests, musicologist Dr Karmen Salmič Kovačič and renowned Slovenian pianist Nejc Kamplet.
