‘Old Age Deserves Our Attention’ is a programme run by the Maribor Regional Museum, aimed at elderly residents of care homes who are unable to visit the museum’s collections or attend the accompanying events held there. The programme is based on lectures and small, temporary exhibitions that tour the care homes. As part of the programme, we present the museum and the castle, individual collections and artefacts, and the work of curators, conservators and restorers.

The first cooperation within the project was established in May 2015 with the home Danica Vogrinec Pobrežje, when we organised a temporary archaeological exhibition "Millennia-Old Objects of Our Ancestors" as part of the DANICA 2015 events.
