At the museum, children learn about the natural and cultural heritage of Maribor as part of the wine-growing region. We start with an animated film and an exhibition of selected material. This is followed by a talk about vines and grapes. The children find out where vines can grow in Maribor, when grapes ripen, how they are harvested and what can be made from them. They learn about the rattlesnake, which scares and scares away birds with its »singing«, and also points out that the grapes have already started to ripen.
We finish the museum tour with the making of a sound scarecrow and a walk to the oldest vine.
