
Mattheus Weisshaubt/Franz Xaver Caminolli II.: Guild jug of the Maribor coopers

The first Maribor tinsmith to be mentioned by name was Konrad Pluemenfelder in 1463.
During the 17th century, the masters working in this region were mostly German,
while in the second half of the 18th and first half of the 19th century they were
replaced by Italian masters from the Caminolli family.
The guild jug of Maribor coopers was made by Weisshaubt and repaired and reworked by Caminolli.

Souvenir glass

The glass was made in commemoration of the first anniversary of the wedding
of Vinzenz Dittl and Katarina Staudinger and of the loss of triplets, who were
born and died in the same year.
The images were cut into the glass by Hieronim Hackl (1784–1844).

In the second half of the 19th century porcelain became accessible to the bourgeoisie,
who particulary appreciated the Viennese, but also German and Bohemian porcelain.

Signet of the city of Maribor

The signet carries the city coat of arms, featuring
the city walls with two towers and open city gates.
The falling pigeon on the top represents tha Holy Spirit,
a symbol of John the Baptist, the patron saint of the parish of Maribor.
