LABYRINTH
Between the temptation of taste and the experience of sensory perception<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

A labyrinth is a space of specific shapes and affects the people who walk through it or observe it. Through the experience of travelling and exploring the interior spaces, it enables sensory activity of the actors and the spectators - participants, and activates the possibility of experiential knowledge based on sensory perception.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the travelling labyrinth is to learn about and perceive what is happening and transform it into a special experience for the user. The stories of the past and the perceptions of the present that connect the world of memory, help us experience the space. It becomes a sort of a bridge between the past and the future. The participant becomes one with their own personal history, developing their own mystical adventure.<\/p>\n

In this year's ROCKER OF IDEAS, we are using different approaches to create bridges between museum objects and contemporary dance performance art. The furniture depot is a notion of materialised history, where the memory of the past is always present. The body entering the space enters as a conglomerate of a thousand perceptions, stories and memories of its own. The long-standing tradition of Cinema Partizan once offered moving pictures and seating to the spectators, but today the roles are reversed. Echoes of the past as an experience of the present. A history of the future.<\/p>\n
