Rudi Uran, director and photographer

Rudi Uran (b. 1961) received his art-oriented education first at the School of Design in Ljubljana, and later, in 1985, at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. In the same year, he became a member of the Maribor Association of Visual Artists (DLUM).

Since 2015, he has been a member of Slovenian Directors' Association and since 2018 also a member of Maribor Photography Club. He lives and works in Maribor. He works in documentary film, video production, photography and graphic design. He is the author of more than 300 music and promotional films and just over 30 documentaries and two feature films. He has participated in more than 80 film festivals at home and abroad.

In recent years she has exhibited regularly. As a filmmaker and photographer, he has received numerous prizes and awards for photography and film over the years.
