Rezka Arnuš was born on the 11th of October 1953 in Božakov near Metlika. She is a retired physiotherapist who has been painting as an amateur for more than 20 years. Her eyesight problems started in secondary school. Nevertheless, she successfully completed her studies and worked actively as a physiotherapy manager at Dolenjske Toplice Health Resort for 25 years.

She wanted to be an artist since she was a child, but because of her work and family she didn't start realizing her dreams until she retired. To date, she has participated in over 200 group exhibitions and has had 22 solo exhibitions. She has received over 40 awards and prizes for her work in Slovenia and abroad. She lives with her family in Dolenjske Toplice where she also creates her art.
