Introduce children to life in the Stone Age and the profession of archaeologist. They learn about this extinct animal by seeing the museum's oldest exhibit, part of a woolly mammoth tusk. We talk about its size, colour, hair, teeth and learn how and why Stone Age man hunted it. Finally, we illustrate an archaeological dig in sandpits. Children dig a mammoth skeleton out of the sand and put it together. Before leaving, they make an animal tooth necklace as a memento.

If you wish, you can take part in a subscription to six museum galleries, which you can choose from the eight on offer, or you can choose to visit an individual museum. The price of a single museum visit is € 3 per child and the price of a season ticket for six museum visits is € 15 per child. For groups of less than 10 people, the price of the programme is uniform and is € 30 for the whole group.
