Guided tour of the exhibition with workshop

Children see a reconstruction of a historic pharmacy from the late 19th century, featuring the pharmacy's sales area with original medicine cabinets, stalls and prescription table, the pharmacy's laboratory with equipment for making medicines, and the storage room for raw materials. They learn about the profession of a pharmacist, who had to prepare medicines according to regulations and under the supervision of a doctor. He also sold confectionery in his pharmacy. At the end, the children each mix their own packet of medicinal tea and seal it with a real apothecary's seal.
