The archaeological exhibition First Touch takes us back to a time beyond memory. Around a 1000 selected artefacts made of different materials provide evidence of population density and residential culture, lifestyles and burial practices, material and spiritual culture, and social and economic conditions from the Early Stone Age to the Early Middle Ages. The reconstructed models of dwellings offer an insight into the way of life throughout the different periods. The intersections correlate the events and finds of our area with the wider Slovenian and global space. Some of the discoveries and archaeological research in the field are presented digitally.
