With the project VARIATIONS - HOMMAGE À FRANZ LISZT we promote a positive attitude towards musical heritage. The starting point of the project is the historical space of the Knight's hall of Maribor Castle, where the renowned European pianist Franz Liszt performed a concert on the 16th of June 1846. With this project, we are establishing the Knight's Hall of Maribor Castle as a musical venue for young artists. The performers are students and graduates of Maribor Conservatory of Music and Ballet, students of Ljubljana Academy of Music and other successful musicians studying abroad.
