Slavica Zdolšek, a member of the Koper Inter-municipal Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired, was born in Maribor, but feels that Piran is her home since she has lived there for forty-four years. She has been fascinated by painting since childhood, but life led her down other paths.

At the age of 60, she picked up the paintbrush again. She and her daughter Daria joined the painting group of the Giuseppe Tartini Community of Italians from Piran, under the tutelage of Liliana Stipanov. She has exhibited her work several times. Her last exhibition took place in September 2020, at the Piran City Library.

She also participated in the exhibition on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Inter-municipal Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired Koper, where she is a very active member of the association's singing group.
