HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PERMANENT EXHIBITION - WHERE DO I COME FROM? WHO AM I? WHERE AM I GOING?

In the presentation film Highlights of the permanent exhibition: Where do I come from? Who am I? Where am I going?, we point out some of the most interesting museum objects that have shaped the history of Styria in their own unique way. The film shows the diversity of the museum's collections. You can visit the archaeological and ethnological collections, walk through the historic furniture exhibition, and see the fine arts, fashion, weapons and crafts collections. One of the most interesting objects is a wild boar figurine from the 1st century BC, a pharmacy scale from the 19th century, a medieval seal of Maribor from around 1300, a sword breaker from the 17th century, a set of sofas from the mid-18th century, a portrait of Anton Martin Slomšek, Rudolf Maister's cap, Marshal Josip Broz Tito's uniform, a bottle of the popular Ora drink and many other interesting objects that tell the story of Styria's history. The selected objects can be seen in the existing permanent exhibition as well as in the new exhibition rooms that will be put on display.
