The Maribor Regional Museum also displays its furniture collection in an open storage in the Partizan Cinema. We believe that by displaying a large amount of collected museum objects, we can confront the public with the concept of materialised history and demonstrate the development potential of heritage. The unselected display of the material, which is nevertheless systematically arranged in the storage, provides a solid platform for the emergence of many ethical and aesthetic concepts and the creation of multiple points of view.

As artists are among the most sensitive of people, the space, where the historical memory of creativity is deposited, is now open as a new gallery. In the framework of the project GUGALNIK IDEJ (ROCKER OF IDEAS), artists are invited to use their original contributions to answer questions about how heritage affects their creativity, how it speaks to them and how it changes them.
